Until 27 October 2024 you can immerse yourself in the creative universe of the Valencian painter José Benlliure and also in that of his son Peppino with the exhibition "Drawing to create. Drawings and posters from the Benlliure House-Museum".
It is a compilation of more than 50 pieces including drawings, sketches, photographs, bibliographic copies and advertising posters, many of which have never been seen before.
Together they form a true pictographic treasure trove that provides an insight into the creative process of both artists from their beginnings, how they created their own style and how they revolutionised the advertising industry by conveying complex messages through a single image.
Most of the works you will see are made of paper, a material which, due to its delicacy and fragility, can rarely be exhibited.
