Dansa València 2025 Festival in its 38th year

The most eagerly awaited dance and movement arts festival in the Valencia Community returns to the city from 5 to 13 April 2025. 

It will be spread across several locations, just as it has been on other occasions. From theatres to museums, squares, parks and other spaces. It is an event that serves as a cultural and professional benchmark, bringing together creators, companies, cultural agents and audiences from all over the world. 

Dance takes over the city with a lot of activities 

This year's festival opens with the "Moviments Urbans" cycle, organised in conjunction with the Valencia City Council, which invites you to discover itinerant shows in the historic area and in other unusual places in the city. 

And from here, you can enjoy a host of local, national and international shows that invite you to rethink the present. 

Through projects such as «Impuls a la Dansa», Dansa València will continue to bring the movement to other contexts and territories, promoting diversity, research and the decentralisation of the sector. 

And with the Satellite Programming (from 13 to 21 April) workshops, meetings and radio programmes will be held, adding voices and perspectives that broaden the horizon of dance. 

Keep in mind that Dansa València is not only a festival; it is also a space for professional networking and international projection.  

Programmers, companies, distributors, press and specialised critics from more than 20 countries meet here. Why is that? To find collaborations, new projects and alliances that help the sector grow. 

The event will take place from 9 to 13 April and will include professional meetings, presentations, speed dating, reverse missions and meetings between artistic commissions that will create a network of opportunities to promote the creation, dissemination and internationalisation of dance. 

In addition, the Turbines initiative, together with Espai LaGranja and La Mutant, will once again promote creative processes and residencies to strengthen the choreographic fabric from the ground up. 

Dansa València 2025 is movement, connection and community. A festival that breaks boundaries, highlights contemporary creation and encourages us to understand the world through the language of the body.
