Discover the spectacular visual cascade of more than 250 images with which the renowned photographer from Alicante transforms the IVAM
How many images do you see on your screen a day? We live flooded with photos and, sometimes, that rush prevents us from truly looking at what each one of them contains, wouldn't you agree?
Then you agree with the idea of Cristina de Middel, an artist from Alicante who is going to fill Gallery 6 of the IVAM with images taken by herself from May 21 to October 12, 2026.
The exhibition brings together 252 photographs —of different formats— organized in a proposal that, at first glance, seems chaotic but hides a deep order based on chromatic play.
Each group of snapshots tells a small story; the ideal approach is to stop in front of them and try to discover what it is… you just have to open your eyes and your mind wide!
