Come and discover "Picasso y la modelo" at the Bancaja Foundation
Categories: exhibitions.
Would you like to learn more about Pablo Picasso? Then come to the Bancaja Foundation!
This autumn Bancaja Foundation invites you to discover an exhibition that celebrates the most deeply-rooted art and culture of Valencia.
Several masterpieces by one of the greatest Spanish artists of all time, Pablo Picasso, are brought together in a must-see exhibition.
The exhibition is called "Picasso y la modelo. El perfil de Jacqueline” (Picasso and the model. The Profile of Jacqueline) and brings together more than 300 of his works. It includes graphic material, oil paintings, drawings and illustrated books, among many other things.
And all these elements have one thing in common. They focus on Picasso's years of cohabitation with Jacqueline Roque, his last muse and life companion.
It is a collection that offers a very intimate view of Picasso, so much so that it also includes previously unpublished photographs from the Edward Quinn archive.
Are you going to miss the opportunity to learn more about Pablo Picasso at Bancaja Foundation?
