Museo Taurino (Bullfighting Museum)

Pasaje Doctor Serra 10, 46004 - València

TOURISTIC AREA: Historical center

The Valencian Bullfighting Museum was inaugurated in July 1929. Most of the exhibits are drawn from the generous legacy of Luis Moroder Peiró, who left his collection of bullfighting books and objects to the local Council. This was complemented by the 'Badila’, donated by the picador José Bayard. The museum has been extensively refurbished with informative and didactic objectives to give an overview of the history of bullfighting and to give recognition to the most important Valencian bullfighters.

From the Bullfighting Museum you can visit the Valencia Bullring and explore all the different spaces, provided that there is not an event taking place.
