The We’re Smart Green Guide is a guide that evaluates and ranks restaurants around the world based on their commitment to healthy and sustainable food, focusing on the use of fruits and vegetables. Restaurants are rated on a scale from 1 to 5 radishes, depending on the percentage of fruits and vegetables in their menus, culinary creativity, ecological footprint and social impact.

Restaurante La Salita Valencia

La Salita

La Salita, with one Michelin star since 2019, has been distinguished with 5 radishes and is ranked #16 in the guide's Top 100 worldwide and Spain's #1. It also received the We're Smart Discovery Award 2023 for innovation and excellence. Begoña Rodrigo has also received accolades as the Second Best Vegetarian Chef in the World, the Best Vegetarian Chef in Europe and Best Lady Vegetarian Chef in 2024.
Restaurante Fierro Valencia

Fierro

Fierro holds the highest distinction of 5 radishes thanks to his creative approach to vegetable cuisine. Each of its dishes stands out for its intense flavours and vibrant colours, offering an authentic plant-based "fiesta of flavour". They have been awarded for the We're Smart Green Guide's Discovery Awards 2024.

María José, with a Michelin star, uses organic and local products, including honey from reclaimed urban beehives in Valencia. Her cuisine is pure audacity, full of flavors and contrasts. Bodega Casa Montaña

Founded in 1836, Bodega Casa Montaña is a century-old tavern with charm, located in the historic neighborhood of Cabanyal-Canyamelar. Its atmosphere, steeped in history, is complemented by an extensive selection of wines from around the world, ideal for pairing with its exquisite tapas. Vermouth is a must-try, and wine is served by the glass, offering a unique gastronomic experience.
Riff

Riff

Bernd Knöller is the most Valencian of German chefs and the true heart and soul of Riff, a Michelin-starred restaurant with two Repsol suns. This well-established gastronomic proposal is located in the Eixample district and showcases a special sensitivity for seafood. Knöller also demonstrates his passion for rice dishes within a culinary style that masterfully reinterprets the concept of the Mediterranean diet.
Restaurante Apicius

Apicius

Chef Enrique Medina offers a menu called "EM Green", based on 70% plant-based and locally sourced ingredients, with the seasons as its guiding principle.
Restaurante El Poblet Valencia

El Poblet

El Poblet, one of Quique Dacosta’s restaurants in Valencia, rises from one radish in 2024 to four in this edition. Awarded two Michelin stars in 2019, it offers original dishes by Luis Valls inspired by the surroundings — the sea, the farmland, and the Albufera lagoon. Its “Vegetarian Menu” is the restaurant’s greenest offering, celebrating the authenticity of Valencia’s local produce.
