"Trobades amb..." or "Getting to know..." returns to CaixaForum València from 31 January to 9 May 2025, a space where curiosity and creativity come face to face.
They are not lectures, but rather meetings aimed at generating questions, discovering processes and connecting with art at its core.
Here we not only listen, but also interact, investigate and, above all, discover.
"Trobades amb..." (Getting to know...) Schedule
31 January - Riki Blanco
The first meeting is with illustrator Riki Blanco, whose career crosses borders, with work published in The New Yorker, The New York Times and Forbes.
However, he is not just about drawing. He will also discuss poetry, theatre, video art and music and his characteristic lyrical humour and irony.
28 February - Ana Oncina
The illustrator who won over thousands of readers with "Croqueta y Empanadilla" will also be present. She will reflect on the power of comics to connect with the public and to tell stories.
28 March - La Manso
Adriana Manso has turned her resin rings into cult objects, worn by stars such as Madonna and Rosalía.
During this meeting, she will share her career path with us, from her beginnings to how she has managed to turn her passion into a benchmark in contemporary fashion.
9 May - Marta Pazos
The artist closes the cycle with her vision of theatre and set design.
Stage director, playwright and tireless creator, her visual language has revolutionised the Spanish stage and she is here to reveal all her secrets.
Although you don't know what to expect from the experience, one thing is for sure: you will come away with new ideas and plenty of inspiration.
