Les Arts in Valencia showcases the grandeur of bel canto with one of Gaetano Donizetti's most passionate operas.
From 4 to 18 June the Sala Principal will be overflowing with drama, intrigue and emotion as it hosts "Roberto Devereux", with its tale of impossible love, jealousy and power that has you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
Based on the turbulent relationship between Queen Elizabeth I of England and the Earl of Essex, this production oozes vocal virtuosity and on-stage passion.
Donizetti's spellbinding music, combined with performances of the highest calibre from Eleonora Buratto, Ismael Jordi and Silvia Tro Santafé, whisks you away to the heart of the English court in a show where love and betrayal are intimately intertwined.
