The Festival Dansa València returns with an edition charged with emotion and creativity from 13 to 21 April. Under the slogan "Sweet Roar", the event invites a reflective pause amidst the hustle and bustle of the modern world. This year's festival image, featuring a dancer in dramatic pause, perfectly captures this duality between delicacy and strength that defines contemporary dance.
Exploration and diversity in the programme
This year's programme, with 27 shows, offers a wide range of proposals ranging from young talents to creators venturing into new artistic territories. Inka Romaní, Mar García, Javier Soler, Patricia Caballero, and many others will present shows that explore themes such as family ties, identity and the search for meaning in a changing world.
Local talent will also be present, with 15 companies participating in the festival. In addition, the event serves as a platform for artists from all over Spain, with works coming from Catalonia, Andalusia and the Balearic Islands.
The programme includes free performances in public spaces, such as the Plaza del Mercado, the Plaza de la Reina or the Parque Central, and shows starting at 5 euros a ticket in theatres such as the TEM, the Teatro Principal or the Rialto, among others.

The festival offers not only exciting performances, but also opportunities for professional exchange and training. From meetings with programmers to practical workshops for emerging artists, Dansa València has established itself as a vital space for the dance community.
