Biblioteca Pública de Valencia (Public Library). Ancient General Hospital
One of the most familiar buildings in Valencia, the old Hospital became the Public Library in January 1979.
Architects Alberto Peñin and Guillermo Stuyck were responsible for its restoration and various pieces salvaged from the refurbishment were set in the gardens.
