Plaza de la Reina

TOURISTIC AREA: Historical center

The Plaza de la Reina is one of the most iconic places in the city, thanks to its landscaped areas which, together with the cathedral in the background and the numerous restaurants located on both sides, make this square a lively place and a must on your visit to Valencia.

We suggest you enjoy a horchata with fartons from the centenary Horchatería Santa Catalina or have some tapas in the evening on any of its terraces with the cathedral in the background and the scent of orange blossom in the air.

On certain days of the year there are craft markets where you can buy an original and different souvenir.

If you want to have a different perspective of the city, from the cathedral you can climb the bell tower "El miguelete" or "Micalet", its 207 steps and a height of 51m will not only give you views of the square but also of the whole city.
