Sunday, June 16 - The Pretenders and Seguridad Social

A journey to the past with Seguridad Social and their album "Introglycerin"

José Manuel Casañ, leader of the group Seguridad Social, and advocate of the project to this day, joins again with the lineup that recorded the legendary album "Introglycerin" to pay a well-deserved tribute. They bring back those songs to shape live a record that combined assertiveness, attitude, and solid songs to continue sounding sincere and visceral. With the energy and enthusiasm of four friends who reunite after so many years to have a great feast. Of course, with the experience that comes with age.

The Pretenders: the return of a legend

The self-titled debut album by The Pretenders was released in 1980, featuring hits like "Brass in Pocket," the band's first major hit, now a classic, which reached number one on the UK charts. The band's career continued to ascend, unstoppable, marked by indisputable hits like "Back on the Chain Gang," "I'll Stand by You," or "Don't get me wrong." Chrissie Hynde, over the years, has stood out not only as a virtuoso songwriter and vocalist but also as a tremendously influential figure in the music scene, recognized for her unique style and ability to blend rock with diverse influences.

In 2023, The Pretenders embarked on a world tour where, in addition to presenting unpublished songs included in the album "Relentless" and timeless hits, they demonstrate that the extraordinary power of their show continues to captivate the audience. On June 16 at Nits Voramar, attendees will be able to experience this live musical experience.

Friday, June 21 - Rozalén and Pep Gimeno Botifarra

Rozalén and her new songs live

Rozalén is one of the main voices of the new singer-songwriter movement. With five albums released, she has captivated both audiences and critics alike. Among her achievements are three Gold Records, three Platinum Records, a Goya Award, the National Award for Current Music 2021, three Latin Grammy nominations, and the Professional Merit Plaque of Castilla-La Mancha.

She is one of the most successful artists live, attracting thousands of followers to each of her concerts. Additionally, she is an important social activist, using her music to defend the rights of minorities and the most disadvantaged communities. On stage, she is always accompanied by Beatriz Romero, a sign language interpreter. In this way, she advocates for an inclusive show aimed at everyone.

Pep Botifarra with his new album

Pep Gimeno 'Botifarra' presents his new album and show, 'Ja ve el aire,' a compilation of work songs from a female perspective that includes collaborations on the CD of Maria Arnal, Noelia Llorens 'Titana,' Carmen París, and Judit Neddermann.
The album features 14 songs, including traditional melodies and warehouse and work songs, which have been complemented with arrangements and revisions to adapt them to the present day and provide them with a contemporary sound without losing sight of the foundations of traditional root music.

Saturday, June 22 - Vetusta Morla + Tenda

Vetusta Morla is the most important Spanish pop-rock group of recent years. Since its formation, it has stood out for its powerful live performances, highlighting the strength of its sound, the precision of its performance, and its communion with the audience, making its concerts authentic events in each of the squares where they are held.

The series collaborates with the Valencian Association Àmbit, an organization that has been working for 30 years on the reintegration of vulnerable groups, especially those with mental health problems. Part of the proceeds from the reusable eco-cup used during Nits Voramar will be allocated to this project.
