Winter Nocturnes in the Hemisfèric
TOURISTIC AREA: City of Arts and Alameda
Enjoy the marvellous spectacle that is the starry sky, accompanied by music and live narration of mythological stories, cosmic dances and much more... Discover the brightest nebulae, the strangest planets and other secrets of the cosmos. And don't forget to make a wish if you see a shooting star flash by.
This is a journey through time to discover the oldest exoplanet and even fly over worlds of fire and ice. Mythological stories and astronomical curiosities will be told, such as those of the birth, evolution, and death of stars and some of the strangest planets.
The sessions are guided by the narrations provided by educators and will show fascinating places in the winter sky such as some of the brightest nebulae. Thus, in Canis Major, a stellar grouping made up of hundreds of components can be seen, while in Ursa Major the majestic cosmic dance performed by Mizar and Alcor is shown.
The live planetarium sessions take place every Thursday and Saturday at 20:00.
Nothing will look the same the next time you look up at the sky!
