MUV! Festival 2026

February 5th at 7:00 PM — Exhibition Opening and performance by Lili del Sol and Aliya Cycon – Centro Cultural Reina 121 – Free entry until full capacity  

Kick off the month with the opening of the exhibition "Las penas se van cantando" (Sorrows are sung away), where 24 illustrators reinterpret Celia Cruz's legendary quote.  

And the ones welcoming you will be Lili del Sol and Aliya Cycon, starring in the opening concert. 

February 14th starting at 12:00 PM — Local shops in the Marítimo – Free access  

A mini-cycle of four concerts in neighborhood venues: 

• 12:30 PM – Macarena Piedrahita: Jazz and Latin American rhythms – Trobar Cabanyal 

• 12:30 PM – Robert Grayd: Indie, pop, rock, and alternative music – Marieta Tienda 

• 1:00 PM – Blow C: Reggae, dub, and electronica – The Market Cabanyal 

• 1:00 PM – Sanse: Urban music – Bastián Barber 

• All day – Art in local shops: two artists will bring color to the shutters of local businesses in the Malvarrosa neighborhood 

February 19th at 8:00 PM — Maria Carbonell Blues Mood Concert – Teatre El Musical (TEM) – Free entry  

Official festival opening in the TEM hall featuring a performance by the best emerging blues band. 

February 21st at 12:00 PM — Aurora & The Betrayers and Helen Helen in Concert – La Pérgola de la Marina – €15  

Presentation of the 8th edition with a double bill that promises to deliver: Helen Helen + Aurora & The Betrayers.  

Rock, soul, and top-tier rhythm to kick off MUV!'s big week.  

February 27th  

8:30 PM – Anna Dukke — Burning House — €12.39 

Rhythm & blues, soul, gospel, and rockabilly join forces in this concert where Anna, one of the great voices of Americana music, will fill the room with her soulful roots. 

8:30 PM – Martín i Soler Philharmonic Orchestra of València — La Fábrica de Hielo — €12.39 

Classical music takes over La Fábrica de Hielo with a powerful performance by the Martín i Soler Philharmonic Orchestra. A perfect plan if you're looking for a change of pace within the MUV! vibe. 

8:30 PM – The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble — Sociedad Musical Poblados Marítimos — €16.55 

Top-notch ska and jazz with "The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble," a band blending brass, groove, and plenty of rhythm to keep you dancing. 

8:30 PM – Andrés Belmonte — Teatre El Musical (TEM)  

A unique proposal that perfectly fits the festival's spirit, fusing Arabic and Valencian music. 

10:00 PM — Baodub — Sociedad Musical Poblados Marítimos — Free entry until full capacity 

Friday night closure with a "Dub to Jungle Set" that will ramp up the beats with its blend of electronic music and steppa. 

February 28th 

11:00 AM and 12:30 PM — Children's Batucada Workshop — La Fábrica de Hielo – €8.26 

Two sessions designed for kids aged 4 and up to learn about rhythm and percussion. 

12:00 PM — Big Band Session — Sociedad Musical Poblados Marítimos — €10.32 

BarretJazz Big Band, Kaos Big Band, and the UPV Jazz Ensemble come together for a midday session full of swing and jazz. 

12:00 PM – "The Body as an Instrument" Workshop with Looping Greis – Centro Cultural Reina 121 – Free entry with reservation at cclareina121@gmail.com  

A workshop for children aged 9 and up, where they will build a musical piece through games and exercises. 

12:30 PM — LUQ — CC Escorxador del Cabanyal — Free access 

Concert as part of the Illustration Fair —from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM— featuring a very personal mix of jazz manouche, Balkan rhythms, and groove. 

6:00 PM — Le Grand Miercoles — StoneCastle Brewery — €12.39 

An instrumental proposal taking inspiration from Jamaican music and classic surf sounds. 

6:00 PM — Rumba Party — Sociedad Musical Poblados Marítimos — €10.32 

Rumba to sing, dance, and lose yourself in, performed by Comanche, Ángel Carrero, Khal, Juanjo Amador, Tino, Mauro, and Lucho.

Vocals, beatbox, electronics, and body percussion in a hypnotic and physical live show. One of those acts that will undoubtedly surprise you.

A fusion of classical Indian music with jazz and funk in a concert full of nuance, technique, and sonic personality. 

8:30 PM — Stevie Ray Vaughan Tribute with Triple Trouble — StoneCastle Brewery — €12.39 

Pure blues in homage to one of the Texas blues legends, brought to you by Johnny B. Zero and Adrián Ribes alongside Nacho Tamarit. 

8:30 PM — Migue de la Rosa and Yaíma Orozco — La Batisfera — €10.32 

Cuban song, son, bolero, and jazz in a perfect concert to discover the traditional Cuban popular repertoire. 

8:30 PM — Blackbird Trio — Burning House — €12.39 

Rhythm & blues, neo-soul, and fusion featuring Òscar Roig on drums, Mario Coloma on keyboards, and Anna Millo as lead vocals. 

10:00 PM — Ogún Afrobeat — Sociedad Musical Poblados Marítimos – €16.52 

Afrobeat to close MUV! on a high note, featuring Nigerian Akin Sola Elegbede and his eight-piece band.
