The big summer event at the Valencia Bullring is here!
The Feria de San Jaime, also known as the July Fair, is celebrated in the height of summer, filling the stands of the Xàtiva Street arena with excitement and tradition.
It comes with a complete program from July 17 to 21, check it out!
- On Wednesday the 17th, the fair kicks off with the traditional desencajonada, a spectacle where the bulls are released into the arena.
- On Thursday the 18th, the novillada picada takes place, an event highlighting the young promises of bullfighting.
- On Friday the 19th, the celebration continues with a mixed bullfight featuring star performances by Diego Ventura, Morante de la Puebla, and Juan Ortega; a great combination of rejoneo and classic bullfighting.
- Saturday the 20th is the turn of the traditional paseíllo in the bullring, a moment of great anticipation where the bullfighters parade.
- And on Sunday the 21st, as a grand finale, there is an exciting mano a mano between Paco Ureña and Román with bulls from Santiago Domecq. A direct confrontation that promises to be the highlight of the fair.
The July Fair is not just a bullfighting event; it is a celebration full of life, culture, and tradition. Concerts, fireworks displays, and the famous Batalla de las Flores complete this celebration that transforms Valencia’s summer.
