New Year’s Eve Party 2025 in Valencia: chimes, music and fireworks at City Hall Square

Children’s Chimes — From 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Yes, it all starts in the morning with a celebration specially designed for the youngest members of the family, who are going to be the first to welcome 2026. Quite a privilege, right? Throughout the morning, the square will be full of children’s entertainment, circus shows and areas with photocalls, face painting and balloon modelling.

At 12:00 p.m., the countdown will begin, confetti will rain down everywhere and the square will turn into a mini New Year’s Eve celebration so they can also experience the magic of the year change.

Gisela will be in charge of hosting this moment live, providing voice and music to one of the most special moments of the day and turning the celebration into an unforgettable experience.

The Big New Year’s Eve Party — From 10:30 p.m. to 1:45 a.m.

City Hall Square will once again be the meeting point to say goodbye to the year. It will be closed to the public from 8:30 p.m., with access opening at 10:00 p.m. through five designated entry points: Marqués de Sotelo, Passeig de Russafa, Correos, Barcas and María Cristina.

At these access points, 10,000 reusable cups will be distributed to prevent glass containers from entering the venue and to reinforce safety during the celebration.

The night will kick off with local DJ Boccachico, who will deliver a high-energy set from the balcony of Valencia City Hall.

And when the clock strikes 11:59 p.m., the best moment arrives: the chimes!

Bring your grapes, don’t choke… and make that wish you’ve been thinking about for days.

Twelve bites later, Valencia welcomes 2026 with toasts, hugs and an incredible atmosphere.

And as soon as the chimes end, the show begins! A fireworks display will be launched in the square by Pirotecnia Vulcano, so get ready for a perfectly synchronised explosion of colour.

From midnight onwards, Pepino Marino takes over. The Madrid-based DJ, known for his fresh and fun style, will provide the soundtrack to the first moments of 2026 with a special festive session.

Finally, Ele DJ will close the night with energy and dynamism, delivering a carefully crafted mix of genres such as pop and house. More than 10,000 LED light sticks will help create a festive atmosphere throughout the square.

And yes, the music continues until 1:45 a.m.

Valencia is unveiling a new meeting point to experience New Year’s Eve.

The location is, of course, the City of Arts and Sciences and its surroundings. From here, a spectacular fireworks display will be launched by Pirotecnia Vulcano.

The night begins at the Monteolivete Bridge, where the quarter chimes and the main chimes will be accompanied by pyrotechnic launches.

And then it continues with “Resplandor”, a large-scale fireworks show lasting nine intense minutes.

For this display, more than 1,770 kilos of pyrotechnic material will be used, with 3,556 firing cues and 40 different types of effects. The most spectacular moment will come in the final minute, with 2,590 thunder effects and 600 kilos of gunpowder.

The entire display will be meticulously choreographed, GPS-coordinated and built on eight platforms 15 metres high, allowing for the creation of three-dimensional landscapes and a powerful pyrotechnic front with great visual impact.
