Discover the new Hortensia Herrero Art Center

Categories: exhibitions.

Visit the former Valeriola Palace, which reflects the dialogue between the city's historical past and the leading international contemporary art

Every outcome arises out of an idea and, in this case, the Hortensia Herrero Art Center was created with a dual purpose: to share with society the most relevant contemporary art on the international scene, and to help make the Valencian Community a leading destination for culture and art.

In fact, after a five-year restoration of the old Valeriola Palace, it now hosts the private collection of Hortensia Herrero: works by more than 50 internationally renowned contemporary artists such as Andreas Gursky, Anselm Kiefer, Georg Baselitz, Anish Kapoor, Mat Collishaw, and others.
Ideally, you should plan your visit so you can enjoy it and take in every detail. That's because both the works of art and the space itself are worthy of careful admiration.

You can now visit the Hortensia Herrero Art Center on Calle del Mar, in the old Valeriola Palace, and you can buy your ticket here. Or, if you prefer, you can also buy it at the ticket office.

In short, the center offers a complete cultural experience in the heart of the city.
