The importance of everyday design: "Per què sóc així?" at the Centre del Carme

Categories: exhibitions.

Per què soc així? is an exhibition curated by Juli Capella that brings together a selection of objects that are part of our daily lives: a coffee pot, a paper clip, a pair of flip-flops, a juicer…

This unique selection has slipped into the Centre del Carme de Cultura Contemporània and tells us about what the objects that surround us in our everyday lives are like, and who devised them. It also invites us to reflect on the importance of everyday design.

Learn through the history of each of these elements why design has been key in improving day-to-day life and discover new proposals with alternative social and environmental values.

Per què soc així? (Why am I like this?) has been produced by the Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana together with World Design Capital València 2022.

Enjoy this quirky, intriguing exhibition, with free admission, until May 11.
