LGBT+ Pride Day 2024 is full of activities

From June 15 to June 28, 2024, the LGBT+ 2024 celebrations will fill the streets of València with activities, music, and, above all, a lot of pride in being who you want to be.

This year, the theme will be "Celebrem #OrgullVLC," aiming to achieve high participation rates and to highlight and showcase the city's diversity.

This big day comes with several activities spread throughout the month of June.

Take note:

• On Saturday, June 15, starting at 7:00 PM, "VIHSIBLES" will take place in Plaza del Carmen, a sexual health festival open to the participation of the fallero community, featuring performances by artists like Liz Dust and Masta Quba.
   
• On Tuesday, June 18, the La Rambleta library will host a special session to discuss books like "Elisa y Marcela: Amigas y Amantes," all under the LGBT+ theme.
   
• On Thursday, June 20, starting at 8:30 PM, Plaza Baró de Cortes will host "Libérate," a nighttime show featuring drag queens, various performances, and monologues.
   
• On Friday, June 21, at 8:30 PM in Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Rosa López will give the opening speech, accompanied by concerts, performances, and some of the most recognized LGBT+ DJs.
   
• On Wednesday, June 26, at 7:00 PM, "Bruno, the Musical That Changed Everything" will be performed at the Teatro Principal.

This year, as a novelty, the Pride march will close the celebration on June 28. It will be organized by the LAMBDA association and will not include the usual party.

As always, it will start at 7:30 PM at Paseo de la Alameda and head towards Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
