Lateen sailing exhibitions at L’Albufera

Few things in Valencia's Albufera are as iconic as the white sails of its boats. Something that, like Sorolla, you have the chance to enjoy thanks to the Valencian Cultural Federation of Lateen Sailing.

Nine exhibitions will arrive in Valencian waters by year's end, and if you don't want to miss any of these magical events… Grab a paper and pencil and get ready to take note!

• On June 10 at 11:30 a.m. in the port of Catarroja, organized by the Associació Vela Llatina Els Peixcadors de Catarroja.
• On July 1 at noon in the Natural Park of l'Albufera, by the Associació de Sollana
• On July 8 at 11:30 a.m. in the port of Catarroja, thanks again to the Associació Vela Llatina Els Peixcadors de Catarroja.
• On July 15 at noon in the Natural Park of l'Albufera, brought to you by the Associació Tradicional de Silla.
• On July 22 at noon in the Natural Park of l'Albufera, the Associació de Silla will set sail.
• On July 29 at noon also in the Natural Park of l'Albufera, it's the turn of the Associació d 'El Palmar.

And after a month off, the exhibitions resume in September: 

• On September 2 at noon, the traditional sails will return to the Natural Park of l'Albufera thanks to the Associació d’Alfafar.
• On September 17 at noon, celebrate the feast of San Miguel in the Natural Park of l'Albufera with the Associació de Catarroja.
• Say goodbye to the season on September 23 at noon in the Natural Park of l'Albufera with the sails of the Associació de Silla.

And remember that sailing with protection is twice as fun: don't forget the sunscreen, a good cap and, why not, some binoculars to get the most out of the show and the local fauna.
