A concert combining works by Handel, Mozart and Bach with gospel spirituals. This is Amazing Grace, the recital to be held at the Real Colegio de las Artes Pías on 20th November.
The great voice of soprano Aurora Peña will be accompanied by virtuoso performances by Fernando Pascual (violin), Kiko Berenguer (saxophone) and Francesc Gamón (piano).
Amazing Grace brings together two apparently distant worlds: European Romanticism and slave spirituals from the United States. They unite to take listeners on a surprising musical journey that will fill them with emotion. The audience will find that there are not two universes but one single, all-powerful, magical creativity!
