Any day is special when it comes to enjoying the duende (passionate emotion) of flamenco. On this occasion, we offer a fine example with the José Huertas Ballet and their interpretation of the delusions of Miguel de Cervantes’s best-known fictional figure, the Hidalgo Don Quixote.

The prestigious Andalusian dancer, a resident of Valencia, brings to the stage the character of Don Quixote, with the signature elements of Antonio Gades in each step. He comes to life with the music created by Austrian artist Ludwig Minkus, noted official composer for the Russian Imperial Ballet.
