The ninth art comes to Valencia in full colour thanks to CaixaForum and its new exhibition.
Is comic art? This is the question that CaixaBank wants to answer with its new exhibition on the world of cartoons. From 14 July to 29 October, we can discover why this discipline is considered to be the ninth art.
A journey through the history of the so-called comic strips that shows how they are created, from the process of conceptualisation, through the admired drawing and into our hands already printed in full colour.
The exhibition presents comics as a new way of thought and expression, where authors can develop stories with freedom and point out major problems in society. Reflections that on numerous occasions have had an impact on society and even provoked changes in our recent history.
