Year of Berlanga: homage to a cinematographic genius

2021 marks the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of Valencian film director Luis García Berlanga. Berlanga was born one hundred years ago this 12th June, and in his native town, we are going to offer up a worthy celebration. The 'Year of Berlanga' is bringing activities, events, exhibitions and conferences to Valencia, along with the 2022 Goya Awards gala, which will have a Valencian feel and highlight what the Valencia filmmaker has meant to the history of Spanish cinema.
