Throughout July Valencia will be celebrating the traditional Great Valencia Fair 2016, with a long list of open-air concerts, fireworks displays, and countless shows on the most pleasant summer nights. An unmissable experience.
The Viveros Gardens are transformed into a vast outdoor concert hall with performances by the best Spanish and international bands.
On 2 July the seaside districts celebrate the Moors and Christians festival with the landing on the seafront promenade, and the Moors and Christians Entrance Parade that passes through the streets of Cabañal and Malvarrosa.
After midnight on every Saturday in July there will be fireworks displays at different points across the city. On the night of 9 July the City of Arts and Sciences will host a huge fireworks display set to music.
The Palau de la Música is the other focus point for the Great Valencia Fair thanks to the 20th annual Jazz Festival, offering the classic Jam Sessions and a free concert in the Palau Gardens on Thursday 2 July.
Another date for your diary is 23 July, known as the Big Night , which features musical performances on more than 30 stages spread across the city and museums open till the small hours. Then there's also the popular Battle of Flowers on 31 Julyon Paseo de la Alameda, which will bring the festivities to a close.
