From 1 to 27 July, Valencia will be celebrating its traditional July Fair 2014 with a large array of open-air concerts, firework displays and endless entertainment during the most enjoyable of summer nights which will certainly be too good to miss.
During the Valencia July Fair, the Viveros Gardens become an enormous open-air concerthall with performances from the best national bands and singers such as Bunbury, Fangoria, Loquillo, Leiva, Duncan Dhu, Jorge Drexler con Marlango o Jethro Tull.
The Royal Marina will be the stage for the firework displays that will kick off every Saturday at midnight. The Palau de la Música is another port of call for the Valencia July Fair as it will be hosting the 18th Jazz Festival from 1 to 15 July, with its traditional Jam Sessions and free concert in the gardens of the Palau. Another date for your diary is 19 July, known as the Big Night of July, which features musical performances on more than 30 stages spread across the city, paella for all and museums open till the small hours. Then there's also the popular Battle of Flowers on 27 Julyon Paseo de la Alameda, which will bring the festivities to a close.
