IVAM never ceases to amaze us and this time it does so for its 30th anniversary with “Times of Upheaval. Stories and microstories in the IVAM collection”. The new exhibition is made up of collections that tell stories of protest from the 30s to current times, where the most critical role of art in political, social and economic events is told.

IVAM portrays this era with different creators and artists from all over the world. The star sculpture, “Prometheus” by Jacques Lipchitz, is a piece that calls for the freedom of man in the face of impositions by society. A sculpture that will leave you breathless!

If you like art and history, you are in luck as this exhibition is open at IVAM from 14th February 2019 to 19th April 2020. Give it a visit and enjoy the art in its pure form.
