This autumn the Bancaja Foundation opens its doors to show you much of the art that surrounds the Valencian coastline from Sorolla's perspective.
What are we talking about? Thanks to the Sorolla Museum and the Sorolla Museum Foundation you can come and discover the extraordinary exhibition "In the sea of Sorolla with Manuel Vicent".
An exhibition of more than 100 canvases to honour the centenary of the death of Joaquín Sorolla, one of the most famous Valencian artists in the world.
In addition to this, these works present the Mediterranean Sea as the protagonist of the exhibition, with a novel exhibition approach.
The writer Manuel Vicent takes a literary journey through all of Sorolla's works, creating a dialogue between painting and literature.
Sound good?
