Latin Sail Exhibitions in l’Albufera of Valencia

The lake of l’Albufera hosts two traditional sailing exhibitions with Latin sail.
The lateen sail returns to sail the waters of l’Albufera with two days of exhibitions.
On September 13 and 20 and October 4, 2025, you can visit the natural park to see up to 40 traditional boats sailing, powered only by the wind.
Both days start at 10:00 a.m. and will last until 4:00 p.m., but if you want to see the most impressive moment, come between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m.
This activity keeps alive one of the most deeply rooted nautical traditions of our land, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest.
And don’t worry, the routes are designed to avoid the most sensitive areas of l’Albufera.
If you’ve never seen a lateen sail in action… it’s your time to come to València! And if you’ve already experienced it, you know the spectacle makes the visit worthwhile.
