A masterpiece inspired by Spanish Romanticism and the poetry of Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer. The National Dance Company presents the young Giselle, who loses her heart to the dashing foreign traveller she will love beyond death. A ballet that shows how the power of love always defeats death.
The dance classic Giselle is modernized with stage direction and choreography by famed international dancer Joaquín De Luz, a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet for many years.
On this occasion, the music of Giselle by Adolphe Adam will be performed live by the Orchestra of the Region of Valencia.
