The Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia presents the exhibition Creer a través de los ojos (Belief through the Eyes). Visitors can enjoy a selection of great naturalist and baroque paintings inspired by faith until 6th February 2022.
The show features renowned 17th-century European and Valencian masters. It offers a total of 44 paintings by artists who defined an age when art provided viewers with confirmation of their Catholic faith.
The exhibition includes such names as Francisco Ribalta, Jerónimo Jacinto de Espinosa and Miguel March. The show is divided into five sections, on display in the Joanes temporary exhibition space. All the works have been taken from the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia’s own collection.
Entry to Creer a través de los ojos is free, as is access to the rest of the museum! Take advantage of this excellent exhibition and enjoy the best of painting.
