TOURISTIC AREA: Historical center

 

The Bancaja Foundation offers the most extensive retrospective to date of the work of Valencian artist Joan Cardells. The exhibition will be open to the public until 30th January, offering an anthology of this key figure in Spanish contemporary art.

 

The Joan Cardells show features works created throughout his entire artistic career, which extended from 1976 to 2019. More than 200 pieces are included in the exhibition!

 

Most of the works are sculptures and drawings. The self-published book by Joan Cardells will also be on display at the exhibition. This project was commissioned by Josep Maria Benach of Àmbit Galeria d’Art.

 

Exhibition tickets are on sale now at the Bancaja Foundation ticket office, located at Plaza de Tetuán, 23. The price is €5, with student and pensioner discounts.
