DESCRIPCIÓN

The Palacio de la Justicia was built between 1758 and 1802 as the city’s Customs House. It was designed by Felipe Rubio, Antonio Gilabert and Tomás Miner. In 1828 was transformed into a tobacco factory, and finally became the Courthouse in 1914. Built in a neo-classical style, the interior courtyard is split by two archways. The ground floor and the first floor are separated from the top two floors by the pilasters that surround the whole building. In the main facade there is a small statue of Carlos III by Vergara.
