Nightlife in Valencia

There are hundreds of options to have a great time

Valencia’s nightlife offering is very diverse and lasts all year thanks to the good climate. At the weekend, which is when there is more atmosphere, the bustle starts after dinner and can go on until the early hours of the morning because, although pubs close at 3.30am, clubs are open until 7.30am. So, if you are looking to party, this is your city (but don’t get too carried away, please).

Join us for a tour from area to area to see which one suits you best!!

El Carmen

Right in the historic centre, the area of el Carmen is the liveliest. We recommend sitting at a terrace in Plaza Negrita, el Tossal or el Doctor Collado to spend the evening clinking glasses or walking around the back streets until you find the perfect place to have some tapas. Other typical things to do in el Carmen include drinking Agua de Valencia in Café de las Horas bar, listening to live jazz in the Jimmy Glass bar or dancing until the morning at Radio City.

Ruzafa neighbourhood

The area of Ruzafa, in L’Eixample, is the most alternative of the city. Here, you can mix with the most modern Valencians in restaurants like Canalla Bistró, Dos Estaciones or Nozomi Sushi Bar. Are you looking for culture? Explore the interesting alternative cultural route in Ruzafa at the Ubik book shop or the Espai Tactel gallery. If what you want is to dance, great music awaits you in the small bars or clubs such as Oven and Play.

Marina de Valencia

The Marina is an eclectic zone that is especially lively during the summer months. The Marina Beach Club, with a swimming pool right by the sea, is the place to be seen. The Fábrica de Hielo is a place to have a drink in a more relaxed atmosphere. If you want to let yourself go more, then the La 3 club on Avenida Blasco Ibáñez is for you.

City of Arts and Science

If you are looking for something more sophisticated, the City of Arts and Sciences is your place. From June to September, L’Umbracle is transformed into the most beautiful terrace in the city and, if you are looking for more of a party, you only have to go downstairs to the famous club, Mya. There are also many well-known bars on the nearby streets like 48 and On The Rocks.

Other areas

But nightlife in Valencia doesn’t end there. If you go to other areas of the city looking to party, you’ll find that on Thursdays the student nightlife is at Benimaclet, Plaza Xúquer, Honduras and el Cedro, and that the older audience (who still want to have a good time) often go out near Calle Juan Llorens, Avendia de Aragón or Plaza Cánovas.
