WHO, WHAT AND HOW. The Talia Theatre is embracing the spirit of traditional performance with “Panorama Flamenco”, a series of shows featuring an exceptional selection of flamenco artists. Singer Sandra Carrasco and guitarist Daniel “Melón” Jiménez will get the season off to a rousing start, while the closing performance will be given by David Carmona. WHEN AND WHERE. Six performances will take place between 18 October 2017 and 7 March 2018 at the Talia Theatre. Each performance will start at 20:00 WHY YOU SHOULDN’T MISS IT. “Panorama Flamenco” is a unique opportunity to see leading lights from the world of flamenco. One such example is Pedro “El Granaino”, a performer who has received a great deal of popular and critical acclaim. He will be joined on the bill by the Miel de Romero trio and dancer Manuel Fernández Montoya, “El Carpeta”, who will also be accompanied by special guest La Farruca. The series also offers the perfect opportunity to discover the sound of the zambomba navideña, a percussion instrument originating in Jerez de la Frontera that will give a flamenco-inspired twist to this year’s Christmas Carols. Interested? Tickets are available at the online store of the Valencia Tourist Office and at the theatre’s own box office and website. Prices start at €12.
