DESCRIPCIÓN

The construction of the Harbour Sheds was part of the 1910 Plan General de Ensanche y Mejora del Puerto (the Plan for the Improvement and Expansion of the Harbour). The architects were José Mª Fuster and Fausto Elio. The modernist decoration is noteworthy, depicting scenes of marine commerce and navigation, also of interest are the colourful ceramics representing typical Valencian agricultural scenes using oranges, grapes and other fruits.
