DESCRIPCIÓN

This bridge gets its name from the Trinidad Monastery which it stands next. The oldest of the city’s bridges, it was constructed between 1401 and 1407 by the master stonemason Mateu Teixedor. It was the first to be built in stone, but it had to be rebuilt after the flood of 1517. Restored in 2012, this gothic style bridge with ten pointed arches is dominated by two statues, one of Saint Louis Bertrand and the other of Saint Thomas of Villanova, both by the Italian sculptor Giacomo Antonio Ponzanelli.
