The Chapel of the Santo Cáliz in the Cathedral of Valencia safeguards one of the most revered and prized relics within the Catholic Church: the Holy Grail.
Before it came to the Cathedral of Valencia this venerated piece changed hands and residences throughout a number of centuries in what was undoubtedly an interesting pilgrimage route.
This year the city celebrates the first Jubilee Holy Year, which will be repeated every five years. Valencia will be host to all those pilgrims who want to obtain the plenary indulgence in the three jubilee temples of the Valencian capital that grant it: the Cathedral of Valencia, the Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados Basilica and the Resurrección del Señor Parish Church.
