GET THE MOST OUT OF VALENCIA’S FESTIVALS. LAS FALLAS 2015
Are you coming to the 2015 FALLAS? The countdown has begun... On 1 March, the sound of the first barrage of firecrackers will resound through Valencia, and they will be set off again at 2 o'clock each day. Thousands of residents and tourists will converge on the Plaza del Ayuntamiento to experience the unique sound of the fireworks and subsequently enjoy a delicious Fallas lunch, sitting outdoors in the sun. On 15 March, the main festival begins, with more than 700 fallas set up in the streets of the city, whilst the night is filled with fiestas, open-air dances, concerts and firework displays. The city never sleeps!
To make sure that you don't miss anything, we recommend bringing the 2015 FALLAS PROGRAMME with you, taking in the firecracker barrages, the fireworks, FALLAS FESTIVAL concerts, the flower offering and a Fallas map. You must also remember your Valencia Tourist Card, which takes in all public transport, allowing you to use Buses and the Metro during the Fallas. If you want to experience the festival from a local perspective, don't miss the guided tours of the Fallas for only €15 and the special guided tour on 19 March, focusing on the Cremà (traditional burning) de las Fallas.
