Valencia is getting ready to experience one of the most explosive weekends of the year from 22 to 24 June. Concerts, bonfires, festivals and the European F1 Grand Prix are just some of the events lined up to welcome in the summer.
The fun will begin on the afternoon of Friday 22 with the 1st Festival 1 Valencia at the City of Arts and Sciences, where some of Spain’s best DJ’s, including Juan Magan and Chimo Bayo, will turn the complex into an unbeatable open-air dance floor.
But that’s just the start, because the fun will then move a few feet away to the club MYA Club de l’Umbracle, with the party SupermartXé.
On Saturday, while Alonso, Vettel and Hamilton speed round the Valencia Street Circuit as they fight for the best position for Saturday’s race, Valencia’s beaches will be getting ready for the Night of San Juan, when you can’t miss the opportunity to stand on the shore and jump over three waves before sitting round a bonfire to feel that the summer has truly arrived.
On Sunday, after the European F1 Grand Prix, the international musician Pitbull will provide a perfect ending to a magical weekend with a performance in the Plaza de Toros at 9:30 p.m.
