Palace of the Marquis of
Dos Aguas

Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas. (The facade of
the Palace of the Marquis of Dos Aguas, home to the
“González Martí” National Ceramics Museum). Originally a
large 15th-century town house, it has undergone alterations
and extensions at various stages. The most important
was begun in 1740 when the house became the property
of the Rabosa de Perellós family, the Marquises of Dos
Aguas (aristocrats whose name comes from the meeting
of waters in the River Jícara). Hipólito Rovira y Merí was
